Tsypkin’s work has also been presented in the United States. In 2019, his prose was introduced to American audiences through a series of live English-language readings in New York City, developed in collaboration with American director Paul Lazarus (Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond, Melrose Place) and featuring performances by Rachael Dratch (Saturday Night Live). These readings marked one of the first sustained presentations of Tsypkin’s work in English.
This collaboration later led to the audio collection Sammynolie, adapted and directed by Paul Lazarus. The project featured an acclaimed cast of American stage and screen actors, including Danny Burstein (Tony Award winner, Moulin Rouge!), Jason Alexander (Tony Award winner; Emmy and Golden Globe nominee, Seinfeld), Rachael Dratch, and Stacy Keach (Golden Globe Award winner and Theatre Hall of Fame inductee).
Tsypkin’s reach increasingly extends beyond Europe. In 2025, a stage adaptation of his short story Maya in Binary Code premiered in Phuket, Thailand, as part of the first Russian–Thai Investment Forum. Conceived as a bilingual, multimedia reading-performance, the production unfolded simultaneously in Thai and Russian and served as the forum’s closing event, highlighting Tsypkin’s engagement with cross-cultural and international formats.
